What a year it’s been so far! We’ve been hard at work as a band getting our chops together, playing shows, recording new music and building this website! It’s been a lot of work but worth every minute of it.
Thanks to the powers that be, we’ve been lucky enough to play several shows recently, most notably with local surf-rockers, The Bogeys, at Bristol’s Cider House up in Atascadero, at everyone’s favorite donut shop, SloDoCo, (videos of both found below) and most recently in Chumash Auditorium for ASI Events.
We’ve got a lot coming up though, so keep the stoke levels going – we’re putting everything into making our show at Tap It Brewing on March 10th our biggest yet. We’re planning on having t-shirts and CD’s ready by then, in addition to several new songs for you all. Local rockers Spoon Canoe will be joining us for the night, and we can’t wait! After that, we’ll be playing a UU Hour on campus March 16th, at Mongo’s Saloon in Grover Beach on March 18th, and we are planning a DIY underground show when the quarter ends. Stay tuned!
If you haven’t yet given it a listen, check out our recent EP which we just finished. “Stand Your Ground,” is the result of several weeks of hard work and was the next natural step for us as a band. We’re still exploring, “our sound,” an exploration that is likely never to end and a journey that we are looking forward to.
Finally, if you want to join in on the fun, give us a holler! Are you an artist? We would love to promote local art and local artists! Have a place you want us to play? Let us know about it! We’re looking forward to moving in the right direction in the coming months, and as far as we’re concerned there’s only one place playing music can take you: Up. Way up.
